We have traditionally seen the Accounting Intern grow into a full time JR Accounting role after graduation and can grow various other roles such as operations manager, general manager, regional manager, SR accountant and COO. We are a family owned and operated company with 13 sites spanning across 6 states. Position Available P/T.
Position Summary:
This paid Accounting Intern position will contribute to the Accounting/Finance function for multiple Recycling company locations. This individual will work on inventory, weekly performance reports, trending costs, and other bookkeeping/accounting projects and duties as assigned.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare weekly performance reports for multiple entities.
· Record journal entries related to various entities.
· Prepare monthly reporting for various entities.
· Prepare monthly bank reconciliations for multiple entities.
· Assist in special projects.
· Helping Organize department
· Assist in Accounts Payable
· Assist in Accounts Receivable
Qualifications:
· BS/BA in Accounting or finance required.
· Multi-tasker, with strong organizational skills.
· Ability to work well in a deadline oriented environment.
· Working knowledge of accounting systems and MS Office products.
