NOW HIRING: Tot Time Preschool Substitute Teacher (on-call)

 

JOB SUMMARY:  The Tot Time Preschool Substitute Teacher is a loving, caring, outgoing person who is responsible for co-teaching the pre-school class in the absence of one of the teachers. The Substitute Teacher will aid the full time teacher in the planning, safety, and supervision of the day-to-day activities of the preschool classroom and participants. 

 

LOCATION: Tony Bettenhausen Recreation Center, 8125 W. 171st St., Tinley Park or Vogt Woods, 6527 W 171st St., Tinley Park

 

QUALIFICATIONS: It is preferred that the qualified applicant have an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood Development or enrolled in coursework in Early Childhood or Elementary Education. Experience in preschool education or classroom setting is also preferred, as well as, an active CPR certification. 

 

INCENTIVES:  This is a part-time, on-call position. Pay rate begins at $13.00 per hour and qualifies for a complementary membership to the Fitness Center, Recreation Center, Water Park, and Dog Park.
