Intern - Security Product Marketing Intern - Summer 2023 - Remote

The Main Responsibilities

Lumen’s Product Marketing Team creates demand for Lumen products through effective messaging and marketing programs. The Product Marketing Intern will support the PAS voice and UC&C product marketing team. The primary project they may work on is updating or creating content to support legacy voice products moving to the Harvest growth team as well as working with the voice migration product marketing manager on launch plan and competitive analysis for latest content. A secondary project would be to create, execute and analyze the results of a new survey of our Voice and UC&C customers.
Day to day responsibilities would be:
1. Coordinating across multiple internal teams (marketing, product management, analyst relations)
2. Attending meetings
3. Providing status updates
4. Researching competitors
5. Creating content

What We Look For in a Candidate

  • Education Requirements
  • Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior or master’s level education status at the start of the internship, graduating August 2023 – May 2024
  • Major/Degree: In pursuit of a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Communications or related field
  • Proficiency and understanding of:
  • Proficient in Microsoft O365 tools (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Product marketing experience/knowledge a plus
  • Digital Experience
  • Creating Surveys
  • Professional Attributes
  • Strong drive for results and taking initiative
  • Ability to be resourceful and adaptable
  • Ability to collaborate and have agility while making effective decisions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact with business partners and drive the conversation.
  • Flexible and adapts well to change
  • Work Setting
  • Fully remote/ work from home.
  • Intern must be able to work 30-40 hours be week during the 10-week program (June – August)
  • US work authorization
