Summer Assistant Youth Intern

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Assist YOU Staff in planning and preparing for recreational activities including but not limited to flag football, volleyball, dance, soccer, and swimming.
  2. Supervise and Assist in Summer Clubs including Book Club, Arts & Crafts Club, Cooking Club.
  3. Assist staff in coordinating STEM club.
  4. Assist in coordinating Friday Field Trips, attend field trips and coordinate while there.
  5. Serve lunch and snack according to guidelines. 
  6. Supervise gym activities.
  7. Build and promote positive relationships with the youth—showing respect and good judgment of an adult (not of a peer).
  8. Supervise drop-in area.
  9. Help in data collection.
  10. Assist in keeping the YOU area clean at all times, but mainly focus on at the end of the day.
  11. Other duties as assigned.
