Private Equity Fall Internship
Cyprium Partners is a private equity firm specializing in investing mezzanine and equity capital for recapitalizations, growth capital, acquisition financing, buyouts, shareholder liquidity (dividends or shareholder buy-outs), debt refinancing, ESOP, go-private, or management buyouts in middle market companies.
Our Chicago office is currently in the process of recruiting an intern to assist with the firm's deal origination efforts. The intern will report to and work directly with our Managing Director in Chicago.
Learning Objectives:
- Learn about the private equity industry, capital structure considerations, and investment types.
- Pick up insights related to all aspects of the transaction including origination to underwriting.
- Discover if a career in corporate finance and private equity is right for you.
Qualifications:
To be considered for the position the student must be an undergraduate sophomore or junior majoring in accounting, business, finance or related field, have a minimum GPA of 3.5, be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, and have strong communication skills and the ability to work in an independent environment.
