HR Administrative Specialist
Waukesha County’s Department of Administration - Human Resources Division is seeking a talented administrative support professional to provide exceptional customer service to our internal and external customers. This position shares office reception duties and support work for an accomplished, engaged, and experienced HR team, with 2 other administrative support professionals. Work performed touches on a variety of HR functions such as benefits, wellness, new employee onboarding, FMLA processing, HRIS administration, and training and development (see the Supplemental Information Section below for a sampling of tasks).
The ideal candidate will have strong technology skills, good verbal and written communication skills, good attention to detail, solid time management skills, lots of creativity, and a positive attitude and desire to learn and grow.
Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Occasional hours outside the standard hours may be required for special events.
Compensation and Benefits: The starting hourly rate range is $17.80 to $20.47 depending on qualifications (full range extends to $23.51), coupled with a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, life insurance, generous paid time off, participation in the Wisconsin Retirement System, amongst many other benefits.
