Program Coordinator (Full Time Americorps Member)
Member Duties : The Program Coordinator will work to ensure that our After School Programming includes research-based, creative, and engaging activities for students. They will: - Help develop, differentiate, and coordinate materials for after school programming. - Serve as a member of a designated shelter site’s leadership team by helping students M-T with homework, and individualized literacy time, guiding and orienting community volunteers, conducting reading assessments, and supporting Site Coordinators to lead enrichment activity each day. - Support in collection of data and train volunteers and staff in the usage of digital platform. - Attend community meetings in respective shelter neighborhood. - Assist in planning of individual site field trips and HOPES annual zoo trip. - Attend tabling events throughout the community. This may require occasional weekends.
