Marketing Intern
The Firm is seeking a Winter Intern to start in mid-November/December 2021. This is a great opportunity for a student to gain introductory level marketing experience. The intern will report to Marketing team members, lead by Rachel Soto. Past Monroe Capital interns now have careers in the areas of Asset Management, Investment Banking, Investment Management, & Consulting. The internship will provide the opportunity to learn about Monroe’s approach to credit, gain experience in dealing with institutional clients, and network within the Firm.
Essential Functions:
- Provide administrative support for weekly marketing meetings
- Update and maintain the firm’s contact database
- Assist with all marketing duties
- Assist with updating marketing collateral
Position requirements:
- 20-30 hours per week; flexible on the schedule
- Located in downtown Chicago at 311 S. Wacker Drive
- Position is unpaid, with a potential performance based bonus at the end of the intersnhip
Preferred skills/characteristics:
- Undergraduate student in Marketing/Finance/Business related programs
- Must be computer literate (working knowledge of Microsoft Office)
- Attention to detail
- Interest in finance
- Positive attitude
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work within a team
