Research, Case Management, and Program Design for Veteran Program Internship
As an intern here, you will help accelerate social justice issues that impact justice-involved veterans and be part of the solution to society’s most challenging problems. This is a remote internship that will meet with an advisor weekly, who will work closely with you to align the position with your learning objectives.
Here is just a sample of things that you can work on in your internship:
- Work with team and network-wide resources to drive program enrollment and engagement.
- Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and briefings as necessary to achieve program goals and outcomes.
- Recognize, anticipate, and help remove barriers to ensure a successful program and staff performance.
- Research academic literature relating to the projects.
- Develop and plan needs assessments, policy and data analysis, and action plan recommendations.
- Support program manager and Director of Training and Skills Development.
- Write clear, concise, and compelling reports or briefs.
- Consistently demonstrate strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Assist in leading and coordinating meetings with invested stakeholders, including conducting round table meetings.
- Create, collect, and analyze survey data that will shape future trainings.
- Write training curriculum, handouts, and presentations.

- You’re majoring in or graduated with a degree in public policy, marketing, strategic communications, communications, journalism, political science, public health, social work, psychology, nonprofit management, or something similar or equivalent.
