Multi-Media Internship Opportunity at Safer Foundation
As an intern here, you will help accelerate social justice issues that impact justice-involved persons and be part of the solution to society’s most challenging problems. This is a remote internship that will meet with an advisor weekly, who will work closely with you to align the position with your learning objectives.
Here is just a sample of things that you can work on in your internship:
- Try your hand at graphic design, report writing, or curriculum development for e-learning purposes.
- Edit pre-recorded videos and audio.
- Create an introduction and title pages, end credits, and streaming overlays that will be used in training videos.
- Produce live streams.
- Mockup infographics.
- Record facilitators and presenters virtually.
- Assist with virtual presentations via Zoom and Teams.
- Participate in meetings, planning sessions, and briefings as necessary to achieve program goals and outcomes.
- This is a remote internship that will meet with an advisor weekly. We work closely with the university to align your learning objectives.

- You’re able to organize your work and keep track of more than one project.
- You have diverse communication skills and can articulate a subject to people of various backgrounds.
- You are interested in social justice issues that impact justice-involved persons.
- You are ready to share new information through technology, whether that’s drafting Facebook Live content, editing e-learning videos that have already been shot, or creating intro/ titles and end credits that will be used for various video productions.
- You are knowledgeable in Adobe suite (Premiere, Spark, Audition) and are familiar with Streamlabs OBS or open broadcasting software in general.
- You are majoring in or graduated with a degree in Multimedia Production, Graphic Design, Videography, TCOMM, Visual Communications, marketing, strategic communications, communications, journalism, or equivalent.
- You have basic knowledge of computer and data entry, a pleasant manner, patience, problem-solving ability, and dependability, and being a team player is important to you.
