+Position Overview
 
The People and Culture Intern will support the Director of People and Culture with day-to-day human resources activities, as well as assist in planning and implementing long-term department goals. The ideal candidate will have prior experience assisting with administrative tasks, along with strong Microsoft Office skills specifically in Outlook and Excel. Additionally, it is critical that this person must have a high degree of personal and professional integrity and ethics to maintain confidentiality of records and information.
 
+Position Responsibilities
Ø Assists with HR administrative duties, such as entering backgrounds, organizing digital files, and researching for presentations
Ø Support employee engagement by assisting in creating employee surveys
Ø Handle recruiting duties such as scheduling candidates, performing initial phone screens, and ensuring that the recruiting tracker is completed accurately
Ø Assist onboarding duties such as sending new hires their onboarding paperwork and assisting hiring managers in onboard scheduling
Ø Assist in organizational compliance, such as tracking employee completion of annual sexual harassment training and tracking updates to Policies and Procedures
Ø Provide logistical support for employee and professional development events
Ø Interact with employees across all levels of the organization
Ø Ad hoc duties, as assigned

+Position Requirements
Ø Currently enrolled and or graduated from undergraduate program; preferably Human Resources major
Ø Experience in juggling multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Ø Able to work approximately 20-25 hours per week
Ø Must be a self-starter, and work with minimal supervisor oversight
Ø Strong administrative skills
Ø Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ø Strong ability to build interpersonal relationships with internal stakeholders
Ø Must be highly organized and pay close attention to detail
