Jr IT Help Desk Administrator Intern

The Junior Help Desk Administrator Intern is responsible for assisting the IT department with day to day operations, as well as overseeing the progress of office help desk tickets.

Responsibilities for Help Desk Technician
•                  Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely manner
•                  Respond to customer issues via phone, email
•                  Provide customer assistance
•                  Document customer interactions
•                  Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
•                  Escalate issues to the next Tier with next level of difficulty
•                  Install, make changes and repair computer hardware and software
•                  Follow-up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
•                  Image, configure, and deploy desktops/laptops.
•                  Provide maintenance/replacement support for workstations, printers, scanners
•                  Support Outreach Department for various events
•                  Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications for Help Desk Technician
•                  Detail oriented in order to keep detailed notes on tickets
•                  Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•                  Ability to multi-task as well as prioritize and organize their work.
•                  Highly organized to keep Help desk tickets order
•                  Ability to diagnose and resolve basic computer technical issues
•                  Excellent communication skills
