General Description: To support leadership of the Accounting & Financial functions at Feldco. Your job responsibilities and hours may occasionally be altered to help others complete their duties.
Hours : 10am to 4pm Monday thru Friday (we are flexible within reason based on applicants own availability)
Location: 125 East Oakton Street, Des Plaines, IL, 60018
Reports to: Consumer Finance Manager
Objectives of the Finance & Accounting Department (not in any particular order):
- Complete accounting procedures, contract flow, financial analysis, and cash flow management.
- Increase:
- Customer Delight both internally and externally
- On-time and complete fulfillment %
- Look for and execute opportunities to improve the business.
- Develop camaraderie, rapport and relationships with the Feldco team and organization.
Key Responsibilities of the Part-Time Accounting Assistant:
- Support leadership of the Accounting & Finance functions at Feldco.
- Contact municipalities & coordinate for building permits
- Assist in compiling & analyzing financial statements & prepare consolidations.
- Help manage the Accounts Receivable & Customer Deposit processes, ensuring that all transactions are correctly posted on a daily basis.
- Strive for excellence in relation to Feldco’s Keys to Success: Customer Delight, Professionalism, Teamwork, Productivity and Accountability
