2021 Companion Animal Sales Summer Intern Omaha Nebraska, Worthington, Minnesota

The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects.  These opportunities can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.

The Companion Animal Summer Intern(s) will be field based positions across the US.  The intern(s) will serve as an Ambassador for some of our leading products in our companion animal market.  This position will be a field based sales role working closely with our sales and sales management team(s).

The intern will provide added value to our company's customers in companion animal veterinary clinics.  The intern will interact with customers to gain first hand sales experience.  The job scope and primary focus for this position is to actively support the sales strategy across the regions and territories via coordination and execution of sales support activities including:
  • Support and service Animal Health Division product portfolio
  • Logistical support for market field trials assisting Sales and Professional Service Veterinarians
  • Developing and executing plans for engaging customers and meeting customer needs

As a Sales Intern in our Animal Health Division, you will be required to rent a car.  As part of this position, you will have to be legally authorized to rent a car in the state in which you reside/work in based on our company's contracted partners.

Required Education and Experience:
  • Candidates must be enrolled in any Bachelor’s degree programCompleted at least 2 years of college course work by May 2021
  • Candidate must be available for a period of 9-12 weeks beginning the end of May 2021.
  • Candidate must be able to Travel up to 25 – 50%
  • Candidates must have excellent interpersonal/communication and presentation skills.
  • Candidates must have general computer skills including working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint and the ability to use an iPad.
  • Candidate must have ability to be organized, adapt to a changing environment, work independently.
